This event is a demo-day style event that will showcase the projects of MRU’s senior computing students. Many of these projects have been developed in the students’ senior programming course. The MACO Showcase is an opportunity for students to advance their creations outside of the classroom with the support and feedback of expert mentors.
Student teams will be set up in trade show style and guest mentors will have the opportunity to visit each team and discuss their project, its features, value, and potential users.
Why attend?
Come meet the technical talent coming out of Mount Royal and see projects that they have created during their time in our Computer Information Systems or Computer Science degree.
For students, this is an opportunity to be inspired by your peers and the cool projects they are creating! It is also an opportunity for you to network with community in your industry and build connections. (Also free pizza!)
What to expect
This is a trade show style event where attendees will be able to walk around the room and interact individually with each team. Attendees can also come and go from the event at any time.
